More than 200 miles, nine local chapters

The Regional Trail Corporation maintains rail-trails across 4 southwestern Pennsylvania counties. Most connect into the Great Allegheny Passage; others are beloved regional trails in their own right.

The Great Allegheny Passage

GAP sections we maintain

The GAP runs 150 miles from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Maryland. These chapters care for much of its Pennsylvania mileage — a flat, crushed-limestone route never steeper than about 2%.
